Todd Sharkey is currently the Chief Credit Officer at Sunrise Banks where he is responsible for the oversight and daily management of the bank’s credit risk functions & policies, while developing and maintaining a “Value Based” credit culture through an appropriate balance of Risk versus Return. He also provides administrative guidance for the Loan Review function and the Appraisal Review function. Prior to this role he served at a number of other community financial institutions in various credit and underwriting related roles. Todd is a passionate student of commercial lending fundamentals and looks for ways to serve as a mentor to up and coming bankers while also supporting the members of the local communities that he serves.
Todd attended the University of Minnesota for his Bachelors degree and then continued at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received his Masters.
