Manuel Aya, CFA, is a Consulting Manager on Abrigo’s Advisory Services team with over 5 years of experience in financial services, focusing on banking, capital markets, and asset management. His specialty is the valuation of loans, deposits, and debt portfolios for M&A transactions and fair value reporting. He also works with financial institutions to strengthen their risk management procedures, including model risk management and validation and assessing other high-risk areas such as liquidity and capital planning, currency management, and cash-flow forecasting. Prior to joining Valuant, now Abrigo, Manuel worked as a consultant and with Fortune 500 clients in the Northeast and West Coast region as a Senior Consultant in the Financial Services Office of EY.
